The Characteristics Of Bill Gates
3.1) Visionary
They were able to overshadow the
future, also known as a visionary. Bewawasan also means advantages for someone
to see what other oaring unable to see or think of the future. They sound
mostly been able to identify or predict what will happen in the future based on
the action to be performed. In this case, the visionary entrepreneur can be
seen inside Bill Gates. This is so because from the first day when he first did
that involve computer work, he aims to have a personal computer on every desk
and every computer has Microsoft. He built his empire based on this insight and
still continue to work to achieve that goal. (Bill Gates, 2011)
3.2) Observant
Observant entrepreneurs means they
adhere to pursue their ambitions. In reaching a goal, an entrepreneur must be
focused and everything that is done should be done as quickly as possible to
achieve good results. What should be noted is designed without intermixed with
other things. For Bill Gates, he is a devout in its goals. This is evident from
a young age when he plants his interest in computers. Therefore, since then, he
has planted interest to ensure that each computer has the Microsoft software
and he also chestnut to be the richest man in the world. So, to ensure that
this goal is achieved, he was willing to withdraw after a year studying at
Harvard University and the university is a chimera students for studying there.

3.3) Self Motivated
Self Motivated is defined as those
who can afford it to draw up an action ordered that indeed it was committed.
Self motivated attitude is the manner in which a person is wise to use the
opportunities that exist in achieving success. They are usually doing something
proactive work smarter than others and efficient mind in thinking. Bill Gates
is a self motivated person. This attitude helps him to find a place in his
chosen career. He also knew how to use ideas from competitors or labor to
improve his product. He also was proactive as he is willing to use the time
during the night to use the computer in achieving its objectives. (Bill Gates,
2011)
3.4) Opportunistic
Every entrepreneur must be dare and
know how to take opportunity for success. However, successful entrepreneurs are
those who dare to take the opportunity. This is because, for any eventuality,
whether good or bad that will give a lesson to a person, especially
entrepreneurs in planning future strategy. Company's current MITS had fallen,
Bill Gates and his wife had been writing software for other computers and the
existence of new companies such as Commodore, Apple and Tandy Corp. However, in
1979, when the company Microsoft has reached to its peak, Bill Gates has been
found that the company IBM has faced major problems in managing its new
computer operating system PC. Therefore, he has to buy existing operating
system of small Seattle company. The system was purchased at a price of 50,000
dollars and make it as MS-DOS (Microsoft Disk Operating System). The system is
licensed to IBM. It can be proved that the original Bill Gates had a problem
but he was taking a opportunity by buying software from other companies and
licensed to IBM. Although IBM has held the MS-DOS Microsoft, but the company
still has the right to give a license to another company. (Bill Gates, 2011)
3.5) Creative & Innovation
Some see Bill Gates as an innovative
visionary who sparked a computer revolution. In just 25 years, he built a
two-man operation into a multibillion-dollar colossus and made himself the
richest man in the world somewhere along the way with creative and innovative
thinking. He achieved this feat not by inventing new technology, but by taking
existing technology, familiarising it to a specific market, and then take over that
market through innovative promotion and cunning business savvy. As an
innovator, Bill Gates took the time, twice a year, to read and ponder the
future of Microsoft and the creative thinking of his employees. Any employee
could use their creative thinking to write up ideas and send them for Gates’
perusal. He has said that he may read 100 papers during a Think
Week and his record was 112 papers. Not just reading, Gates took the time
to respond to employee suggestions. One paper might have resulted in an email
sent to hundreds of Microsoft employees worldwide. Employees waited with baited
breath to see if their paper or idea might receive the go-ahead following one
of these famous Think Weeks. (Bill Gates, 2011)
